No, as I recall she never had any real intentions to harm Shrek in the LN. Her explosive temper and foul mouth were actually pretty funny--TS had to seal her spirit power and mute her tongue for several days before she calmed down. Eventually she escapes through a floorboard and surrounds the hut with every available pirate, but even then, all she demanded was that TS leave XW and drink two basins of water used to wash her feet LOL. She eventually acquiesces to his power and falls for his noble character, wishing for his safe return.
